Lychee Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • cups Thai tea powder
  • cups sugar
  • Ice
  • Sweetened condensed milk to taste

Instructions

  • Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large saucepan. Stir in the Thai tea powder and sugar.
  • Cover and remove from the heat to steep for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  • Strain the tea through a fine-mesh strainer and let it cool.
  • Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For a less sweet, non-dairy version, replace the condensed milk with fresh lime or lychee juice.
 
To Make One Drink
 
  1. In a shaker, combine ice, 2 cups Thai iced tea, and 1 to 2 tablespoons condensed milk, or to taste, and shake well to blend.
  2. Serve over ice in a tall glass. Enjoy!
